Sponsor the Day

Terms of Service

Last updated November 2, 2026

What Sponsor the Day is

Sponsor the Day is a tool that lets people (“organizers”) publish a fundraising calendar and lets supporters (“sponsors”) pick days to sponsor. We provide the software only. We do not hold, receive, or transmit anyone's money.

Payments

Payments go directly from sponsors to the organizer through Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or the organizer's own Stripe account. Each payment service has its own terms and fees. For Venmo, PayPal and Zelle, the organizer confirms receipt by hand. Disputes, refunds and chargebacks are between the sponsor and the organizer.

Organizers

Sponsors

A sponsorship is a voluntary gift to the organizer. Your name appears on the calendar unless you choose to stay anonymous (the organizer can always see who you are). Days held for you are released if payment is not confirmed in time.

Not allowed

Fraud or misleading fundraisers, illegal activity, harassment, content that exposes private information about others, or anything that harms minors. We may hide a calendar or close an account that breaks these rules. Anyone can report a calendar with the “Report this page” link on it.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”, with no promise that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Sponsor the Day is not liable for lost donations, payment disputes between users, or indirect damages.
